This presentation I found gave a good perspective. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did...
The Road to Success
Today finished up my class "Principles of Selling". The class was a very beneficial learning experience. Well ending the class, our teacher gave a power point presentation. He was taught this and remembered it. PAV is from Marilyn King. The teacher added the E.
PAVE the road to success.
Passion
Action
Vision
Education
These are all essential qualities. They all intertwine. If you do not have one piece than you lack something significant.
Action + Passion - Vision = Workaholic
Passion + Vision - Action = Dreamer
Vision + Action - Passion = Mediocre
So yeah, then our teacher added Education.
To help with understanding I wrote some similar words to define exactly what is needed.
Passion, Drive, Motivation
Action, Movement, Motion
Vision, Foresight, Goal
Education, Learning, Information
Because Life is Short

I Will Play the Ukulele
When you think of a ukulele you often think of hula dancers with grass skirts on, in Hawaii, strumming this happy, carefree instrument.
Everyone should have one. Not just the people in Hawaii.
Why?
The ukulele is surprisingly easy. It uses the same 3-4 chords for hundreds of songs. The strumming patterns are often simple. There are also many helpful videos on youtube for all skill levels.
It is a relatively cheap instrument. You can buy one for about $80. (Whereas a guitar is more like $300.)
Ukuleles are portable. Take them anywhere with you. Even off to college. :)
Because of their happy Hawaii sound, they can be a great stress reliever and make you feel better.
I've had a ukulele since Christmas now and really have found myself enjoying it. Such an easy instrument to learn. My latest song that I've been playing most recently is "Let it Go". Sounds pretty fantastic. Although if you learn to play it on your uke, it will get stuck in your head.
Have I convinced you? You need to buy a ukulele. :)

I Want to Make the Most of it
Hey,
Life goes way too fast. I don't want to let it slip by.
I want to make the most of my time, using every minute of it. Never wasting it or being bored.
I want to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I meet.
I want to make the choice to enjoy life.
I want to notice the insignificant things and not let them slip by. (the color of a sunset)
I want to glorify God in my words and actions.
I want to go for the gold. Work my hardest to achieve the things I want to do.
These are some of my main goals.
What are yours?
